Wow, this is only the second time taking her to the sitters, this time for a week, last time was only 4 days. She dis well the last time and when we got into the house all her buddies were out on the perches, (2 Scarlets, 2 B&G and a Military).
She is in good hands and went right on a perch next to another B&G. Never even noticed I was leaving.
Now here is the bad part, in there bird room was a bunch of babies. 2 B&G, 1 Blue Throat, 2 Military and 2 Scarlet, that's just the macaws. Also 1 Umbrella Cockatoo, 1 African Grey, some conures and caiques. They breed awesome birds and have been in it for over 50 yrs.
I fell in love with the Blue Throat and the Military macaws. So when I get back I may be giving them a deposit on one of them. They won't be ready till end of July, begin of Aug. Not sure which would get along better with RIO and not sure if the wife will allow another one. I will be thinking about it while away. Is any macaw better then the other, RIO is well socialized and is a Mush Bird with me, I don't want to lose that if I introduce another into the flock. How do you owners of multiple birds do it?

Thanks :blue1:

There was recently a post about this! I'll see if I can find it.
