I would be excited about this, but this fellow has come from a terrible background. He was surrendered to a friend of mine who does a great job rehabilitating birds to new home. At the time of surrender, his diet was 100% WILD BIRD SEED. Yes, his previous owners fed him nothing but WILD BIRD SEED. Sorry, I got a little angry there. His right eye is flat (forgot to get a picture) and it is obvious he can't see out of it. He was/is terrified of everything, especially brooms (I wonder why!!), hands and feet. I'll stop here before I begin to get angry. Nonetheless, today we learned step up and that hands aren't too bad. I am far from a trainer, but I am doing my best. Hopefully, by the time someone wants him - I can have him not so scared of hands, stepping up, and maybe even flying. Who knows..His name is Peanut. He doesn't respond to it, so we may change it lol.

Oh, and he had never been given a bath until a few days ago..

Today, he stepped up, and got comfortable on my shoulder as I walked around and tended to other birds. Break through moment..

Yellow collared? Poor baby, glad he found you and your friend. Facebook has a yellow collared macaw group and you may want to post this info there...

Looks like you're off to a great start with that mini-mac, considering he already feels comfortable enough to ride on your shoulder!
