I didn't get many pics of Red Saturday since he was getting grumpy with all the people around and taking swipes from the stand when they walked by...he got put away a little early! He did okay with one of our adopters that was there taking home a macaw. He does like men a bit but he was still trying to eat fingers for awhile before settling with the guy.



Beaker was hanging out for a bit.

Thanks! I'm getting there on the bird whisperer thing! One of the little conures bit the crap out of my hand which is the bite in the picture....Jeanne swore she was getting better. She did great by the end of the day but wanted to kill me in the beginning. The little birds always get you...don't know why people fear the big guys lol

I took Whoopie out today for the first time! I figured her and Terry are my last ones to drag out before I've taken all the problem macaws out at least once. She was perfect coming out and was playing with Jeanne for awhile dancing and showing off.

Wow! I'd be in heaven like you are! The pictures are amazing. I was scrolling through them and saw Red and his pluckedness. Such a handsome boy! I hope you bring him home. Along with Whoopie, take her home too, lol!

Whoopie is too stinking cute. What kind of a macaw is she? How much does she weigh? I tried enlarging the picture but I still couldn't get a good look.

That looks like a Hyacinth - B&G Crossbreed to me.

Hard to tell from the photo.

I found an old thread and it is a hy and b&g...oh I forget now.
I am such a sucker for a macaw...and an ekkie...and a too......and greys are starting the pull too but I'm just not there yet.

She was hilarious dancing around with Jeanne to the music. I tried to get a video but accidentally pressed the time lapse and didn't notice until we were done. So the best I have...if you click the pic the link should work...maybe.
