Anybody own a Hahns Macaw...?

Hey guys... So the decision has come down to either an Amazon (Panama Amazon).. Or a little Hahns. The lady I am communicating with has both babies available and is VERY reputable, so no worries there.
Here's the thing, there is obviously a ton of information out there on the Hahns, and I swear I must have read all of it. What I can't seem to find specifically though is this: if there is more than one bird in the household, how does the Hahns (GENERALLY) interact with them? Are they typically friendly/accepting birds with other species and etc? Now guys I am WELL AWARE that it is an individual thing, just like with people, and that it ALWAYS 'depends on the bird', so please avoid just giving me those answers.. I get it. What I'm looking for are personal experiences and etc.
Also, I would LOVE to hear about their noise levels, as everybody's experience is different! I am by no means looking for a 'silent bird', but I am also not interested in a screaming/yelling/constantly squawking bird either. Emma my Eclectus is very quiet and we love her

I don't have experience myself, but I have been told that my Illigers macaw came from a home where it was him and a Hans macaw that were best of friends....

Oh that's a good sign.. I know that the Illigers is fairly similar personality wise to the Hahns (if I am understand that correctly).. How is your Illigers noise level? Would you consider him to be a screamer or extremely loud throughout the day?

He ain't quiet. He calls in the morning when he wakes up and again at night when he is ready for bed (unless I dim the lights before he needs to tell me). He can also call to me when he hears me come home or if he wants food that he knows I have.

When he wants to play he "chatters". Usually a bunch of 'hello' or 'step up'.

Oh that's cute, I love their little voices.. And ok great thank you that helps. I don't suppose you know anything about white bellied caiques do you? That was the original bird I were looking at, but strayed away from them due to their noise level (consistent) and from the more and more I am reading and learning about these mini macaws it may seem as they are closely related in that area.. What do you think?

The caiques I have been around seems to have a higher pitched call, so I think it's a preference.

Macaws and caiques are my personal favorite, so you'd get a thumbs up for either from me.

I have a Hahns Macaw. His name is Lucky. He is the best thing that has happened to me!! Lucky screams a lot and also speaks a lot. I have 5 birds and Lucky only likes my Cockatoo. But the only bad thing is he likes to bite.

I will be completely honest because sugar coating it won't help you or your future bird. Our Hahns macaw is very loud. Despite what many sources say he is much louder than our sun conure. They are not even comparable.

It is usually when he wants attention but for whatever reason isn't able to get it. Toys etc are the order of the day in that regard and of course plenty of playtime with us. There are times when all he wants is one on one attention and if he doesn't get it then he does become the screaming bird you are worried about. This may or may not be an issue depending how much time you can devote to him/her. We have never reinforced this behaviour but he persists with it anyway haha. He talks a lot which is much more pleasant and we are trying to teach him to use this to get our attention instead, it is a slow process.

I imagine amazons are also pretty loud but I don't have any experience with them.

Klaery has the right of it, from my experiences with Harvey thus far. He really wants his 1-on-1 (or 2-on-1) time when he wants it, and will scream the most obnoxious sound ever if you aren't right on it.
We have not found a good way to get him to stop and usually have to just wait him out, though some experimenting with my duck call might be panning out. We'll see!

As for interactions with other birds.. He is completely afraid of himself in the mirror, and pretty hostile to any bird on the screen or in person. I've spent some time trying to introduce him to Perry at a distance in a neutral room, and have progressed from open hostility to curiosity, and the beak that is involved in it. Given how sharp his beak is, and the size difference between a Hahn's and a parakeet, I am ensuring they continue to stay far enough away from each other and that my wife is involved in the process. I'm not sure how he would react to a bird closer to his size or larger in person.
