They searched through social medias to find a bird. They were looking for a smaller bird and as I have rosellas as well, they initially wanted a rosella, but when they came to my home and saw Sugar, they wanted him instead :)

The idea is they have invented a microphone, which translates animal language to human language. It is from there a bit like Jeopardy, where at one stage he calls his friend from America (it's a childrens song, where a parrot from America tells his life story- "I am a parrot from America")

Delightful! Sugar is gorgeous! He looks perfect. I understood some very random words...it was something about an animal quiz? It's like the "who wants to be a millionaire" show, where you could call a friend for help - the music is the same. I thought I made out one question as what is a baby fox called, a kit? And something about who lives someplace, a musk oxen or penguin? It was adorable. Sugar is a natural actor!

Thank you. Luckily it was made before he went into his molt. He is quite scruffy looking at the moment :)

You are right it's like "who wants to be a millionaire" and not jeopardy as I said :)

The category was "animals in Greenland" (which is a Danish island eventhough it's quite far away). The Danish word for polar bear is ice bear, so he had to guess the name of a polar bear in the first question. He gets all but the last question wrong

The second one is which colour does the polar fox into during winter. The third he has to figure out the name of the walrus on the photo. Sugar says elephant seal as it has tusks :p

The forth is wheather a sperm whale can sing, whistle or snap it's fingers. Sugar makes a joke and says, can they only do ONE of those things.

The last question is which animal lives in Greenland the penguin or the muskox. He initially gets it wrong, but with help from his friend in America, he gets the final question right :D

Amazing! Sugar is perfect. If the Rickeybird were on a show it would be the FBI Public Enemy news.
Sugar is just amazing, in looks and behavior...

Most of the time he was very good, but right at the beginning he went towards the microphone as if "I am going to KILL this dangerous alien coming near my stand". Other than that, he was surprisingly nice to vokalize, when I asked him. There was one spot, where I was asking him to respond to a question and he was a little long to move his beak. A little secret; most of the time he's chewing on something, but every time he has to respond to a question, I would have to make him vokalize or he would not move his beak and to have a flow in the quiz, he had to move his beak on cue.

I am generally pleased with his performance :)
