spent ages setting up a nice new play area for beau with perches, toys, treats and even a swing hanging from the ceiling, but no he'd still rather sit on top of the living room door!

Oh wow I love it! Is that a play cage? I know what you mean my husband thinks I'm nuts as I continuously build play areas for my FIDS. He says he has a wife that has birds. Definitely not a bird person but very tolerant and supportive of my love of parrots :smile015::smile015::smile015:

My next FID will be a Green Wing but have to wait till I can have a dedicated bird room. My living room already has 3 cages in it. Good thing it's 20' x 25' big. Planning on making my dinning room the bird room since we never eat in there anyway. Just need the $ to remove the carpet and put down hard wood floors.

i started off with a bird room and now its spilling into the rest of the house! most of the small birds have been rescued, some quite badly neglected, they all have there own space and playroom and get into mischief (especially the budgies)! the parrots now take over the living room and dining room.....thank goodness for wooden floors!!!!!! i wouldn't be without them though x

he's 14 weeks and 2 days old, just a little baby. first time macaw owner and loving it, he rolls on his back when he's on my lap so i can tickle his tummy. its awe inspiring when birds really trust you

no! the bargain was the huge cage! this one is actually mimsy's cage, but as its in the living room i attached all the toys and stuff to it so beau could be in there with us all day. of course mossy, willow and mimsy use it to! willow particularly likes to bath in the water dish!! LOL
