Does this craiglist seller seem legit?

Hey guys found this person selling a blue and gold macaw on Craiglist. She's in Texas and says she'll ship the macaw to me by a pet shipping service and is charging just $310 for that shipping costs (cage included). It seems too good to be true.
I'm attaching some of the messages he sent me. Terrible grammar btw. Idk if I should do it. I'm not afraid of losing money because I could just cancel the card if its a scam but I don't want to waste time. He sent a bunch of pics but there are different people in it every time.

The writing style, price kind of throwing me off. Anyhow thoughts?

A good idea is to open photos in Google Chrome, then right click on the photo and choose "Search Google for image". You will then see if their photos are from different websites on the web.

I am very certain this is a scam, but do the Google search of the photos, then you will know for sure :)

I would play with their head and tell them you wired the money to a Walmart, then tell them they went to the wrong store, then tell them you have a friend that is local. He will come by with the cash and pick up the phantom bird!

("I can't let you drive that long.") Of course not, nothing to see!!

I'm dead! Some scams appear legit on the surface but this is a transparently fraudulent "effort." Buffoonery!!

Seems about as legit as that nice Nigerian prince who needs you to wire him $100,000 because his "accounts are frozen" and in return, he'll wire you $1,000,000:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

A good clue of a scam is usually a poor grasp of the English language by the ad writer.

Hey hold on a minute here, this one was legitimate! In fact now that I am having problems with the IRS I am willing to split this with someone for only $50,000!

You should post a photo of the add. That way others in here don't fall for it. Maybe even some, who are up for a little prank :D

SCAM....I just saw a similar ad a couple of weeks ago, also for a B&G...

The bird was vaccinated for rabies.

Advise you not to look on CL. You will spend your money and never see the bird. Are you on FB? If so look there. What happened to the rescue?

Craigslist isn't always bad. That's where I got Layla. She couldn't be a better bird. Just have to get lucky and be smart in the search. Ask a lot of questions....a good owner that legitimately wants a good new owner will ask as many questions about you as well. Laylas old owner and I still keep in contact. I was very lucky finding such a well adjusted bird but they are out there.

We're gonna move out of the apartment soon and I'll check them out. Not sure if they're right for me as I'm not experienced. I've just researched owning one for a few years now.
