I have a 40-year-old rescue B&G and she will not eat pellets. I have been trying to find a mix that doesn't have a lot of shells in it. I have been giving her Goldenfeast, which she eats, but I would like to give her something with a little bit more size to it. For attention, she will scoop her food out and throw it out.
Or some suggestions on what to add to it that has more size to it. I do not give her peanuts. I add more nuts and some dried fruit, but she doesn't really eat much of the fruit. Of course, she loves the nuts.
She does get other fresh food as well.
Also if anyone has any suggestions of ingredients I can put together to make something like Volkman Fancy Soak & Simmer. I have 2 U2's and 2 B&G so would like to put something together for them as well.
