vincent-b/g macaw archie-alexandrine and coming in june greenwing macaw and millitary macaw this year too fingers crossed
Well guys in July I will be reviving me baby greening macaw at 16 weeks old so I'm getting prepared early. I'm going to be buying cage soon and was wandering would the Montana denver cage be suitable? I know they are alot bigger than our blue and gold not wanting to spend stuip money on one as I've got a military and hopefully a harlequin coming this year too. Looking spend bout 300 mayb 400 sterling any info would be great. Already have java trees etc and the spare room convertered fir our birds at the min. So he should be happy with our set up.

Also what my best way of letting other too meet him he's coming from great breeder who's sexing him and vet checking him all for 1300 as we bought from him before. Thanks for reading kyle

WOW I love that cage! I don't know about macaw housing, but looks like they'll be very lucky birds :).

That is an awesome looking cage. I wanted one like that as well but they are so pricey. I would highly suggest looking for one like it or similar on ebay. Seriously, the cage I bought was over 500 cheaper on ebay and was just as nice in quality and everything as the ones that were being offered at the pet stores around here. But it is a very nice cage.

I don't think that cage would work well for my macaw at all. I need one with latches. Mine is very destructive!!!! I bought him this cage with double latch, he still learned to open up on his own. I have to put a pad lock on the latch while I'm not home. With that latch on the cage your looking at, mine will have it destroyed in no time. I need the hookable ones....I think my Eclectus' new cage have the same latch as the one in the picture....

i have a similar cage, it takes up a lot of room and i didnt realize how many corners our house doesnt have! So its in the one corner it will fit in, and isolated from where we generally hang out ( I got the cage with the bird, so i took it), so I am looking for a different one that will fit in the family room, the one in the family room now is 44" wide 28"deep and about 76" high...

Loving them every step of the way! They're soooo funny, I play farmville on facebook, Gracie is learning the animal sounds already....lol. JoJo just talks away, very clear voice!!!! I read they were messy eaters, 100% accurate!!! But they are worth it!!!!
