need advice on ideas to stop a macaw from flying into a glass storm door. Any ideas on what i can put on the door to distract him. I cant replace with a screen because the style doesn't allow a screen ( glass isn't removable). He is clipped but at times can still make it to the door. thanks in advance Rae:blue1:

I would get his wings clipped. Its not safe to let a big bird like that fly around your house, he's going to ge hurt.

Also if it is possible to put window clings or something like that on your window it may help to stop him.

Are you just leaving the door open to let in some light through the storm door? Put some sticky objects on the glass. Birds don't see that glass, if you put something on it he might not fly to it. Either that or those suction cup hanging toys. Last option is window films.

Craft stores will sell window decorations that stick to the glass. You may be able to get Easter bunnies or things like that now. Put lots of them on the glass so the bird will know it is not a clear way to flight.
