I have 2 beautiful Double Blue Front Amazons, 1 Blue Front Amazon & 1 Yellow Nape Amazon, Dbl names are Ziggy & Zaggy, Blue is Spanky & Yellow is Buster. I was given Ziggy on my 40 Bday (6 yrs ago) Zaggy was given to me for Christmas 2008, I required Spanky & Buster as the needed to be re-homed.
I really enjoy my buddies extremely well They are a big part of our family.
With Zaggy I have "the typical" Amazon Hormone stages. He can be quite the terror to myself & others. I work with him & continue to bring out is better qualities & we work hard on his behaviour issues. Buster was abused, his previous owner had been bitten by Buster & it went down hill from there. I was asked to take both Spanky & Buster as I had my other 2 & I have always worked with birds & various animals.
I am posting a picture of Ziggy & will add more of Spanky, Buster & Zaggy.

Okay, Google was not my friend at all, and it seems to me that there is no such thing as a "Double Blue-Fronted Amazon"...There are only 2 sub-species of Blue-Fronted Amazon, one with red shoulders, and one where part or the entire shoulder is yellow and with much more yellow on it's head...and apparently there was a very beautiful chocolate/red colored Blue-Fronted Amazon bred in-captivity in 2004...and all Blue-Fronted Amazons have differing facial patterns, along with different amounts of yellow or red on their shoulders...But I'm seeing absolutely no reference at all to a "Double Blue-Fronted Amazon"...

Any Amazon-people have any input on this? The OP of this thread stated that they "have 2 Double Blue-Fronted Amazons", and then "also have one Blue-Fronted Amazon", so they are clearly differentiating the two "species"...
