Where about in Scotland? My family are in East Kilbride, we were back there in May, but OMG it was freezing, and the gales??
I lived and worked in Glasgow for many years at the Royal Infirmary, so you wanna chat Scottishy stuff... feel free!

Wonderful pictures. Wish Wisconsin wasn't so far away. :( I'd love to move over seas, but I don't think England, where we'd like to move, would allow my parrots in.

Well it seems I might not be as welcome here as I thought....

I just got sent an infraction because I expressed my love for taking photos of parrots and was offering to take nice photo's for others.

I gave no link to my website, just my flickr (which is attached to photos.. rule of sharing from flickr).

I didn't spam or make multiple post's about the subject, I wasn't forcing it on others I was just trying to let people know that if they lived around me that I would be more than happy to capture a keep sake of one of there family members.

Sorry for trying to bring two of the things I love together, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

I love the second photo! I wish I could take remotely good photos!

Also, please don't feel unwelcome. It was just a silly mistake and we all make them. I'd love to see more photos of your bird!

How would someone go about Advertising here?

I can't see the second link, and I wasn't actually selling anything mearly letting people know If the liked my photos I could take photo's of there birds too. Ofc there would be a cost to this, petrol costs money, ink costs money, paper cost's money and most of all the upkeep of my equipment too and I as much as I would love to I couldn't afford to take photos and give them away for free.. but I wasn't posting here to make money.. more so to be a apart of the community and taking the photos would be more of a social aspect for bird lovers around me.

I didn't know I was breaking the rule's, Taking photos of parrots isn't my business, infact i've only ever took photos of mine, photography as well as birds is a passion of mine. If it ever became a business I would have no problems in becoming a sponsor and paying for advertisement. But since it was a hobby I didn't see it as a problem to let others know.

The last thing I want to do is get off on the wrong foot with anyone here, I look forward to reading the story's and learning from others and there parrots.

Thanks for all the nice comments so far and for wishing me well with my new born :)
