That's a green cheek conure (GCC).
Where are you located? He must have just got lost and probably has a very worried family looking for him.

I wouldn call the police. Animal control maybe if there is one where you are.
Definitely post fliers maybe an add in the paper or pennysaver.
I promise a family is worried sick. Good thing hes flighted. He would be dead if not.
Or possibly never got away to begin with. However he's still alive. Good luck to finding his home. I'd be so upset if it was my rexx.

I hope the owners find their bird. If he came right to you then he was definitely somebody's pet. I'd be worried sick if any of my babies somehow got loose.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for getting the GCC. Put up some fliers saying that a bird has been found, but do not put any pictures or say what type of bird it is, just that they must contact you for details. People would try and say that it is their bird just to try and get a free one. So don't reveal what type of bird it is unless someone contacts you and says they've lost their GCC etc.
