My wife and I adopted a 17 yr old eclectus last week. He, Winston, was apparently in a stressed situation because he plucked out most of his breast feathers. The society I adopted him from told us he is improving and should have full plumage in a few months. We're looking forward to getting him settled in our home. We've already received some good advice and look forward to participating on this site. :green1:

Hey Winston's Dad, welcome to the forum. What part of the world are you from?Always like to hear of people giving older birds a new chance at a happier life.Don't know if Winston will have all his feathers back in a couple of months but hope he is well on his way.
