Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum so let me tell you a bit about my sun conure....

I just got him like a week ago, I'm waiting on DNA sexing results to name him. so for now I'm calling him "pretty bird" lol
He is 11 weeks old and he is just so cuddly! I absolutely love him/her so much already!! This is my first time with a sun conure but I did a lot of research on the internet about them and visited a lot pet stores with to hear exactly how loud they get. The ones at the pet store were so loud! My baby is not that loud (yet?) I'm wondering if they get louder as they grow?? :orange:

Thanks everyone! :)

I worked in a pet store with big birds in college, and it seemed pretty often the birds in the store were much louder than one in a single or double bird home because they were competing to be the loudest bird! Of course a sun can make noise, but if they left early on they seemed to end up quieter than if they stayed a while and learned to make "competitive" noise.

Thanks for responding! I'm relieved to know that I may have a "quieter" sun conure!

Quieter is a relative term :D
