Hello everyone, I am from Wisconsin and share my home with three cats and a 5 year old green-cheek conure. Yesterday one of my most special dreams came true and I bought a congo grey. The baby hatched Dec 1 so it's not yet ready to come home with me. I ordered the DNA sexing so I would know if it's a boy or a girl. I was able to see a couple of the babies and hold them in tray. It was tough choosing, I wanted to bring them all home. :) I can't wait to bring the baby home and of course learn the gender and begin the daunting task of finding a suitable name. Cheers!

Hello up there. I lived in the North Woods for 2 years and boy was it cold. I have a grey and Gcc so here is a little word of advice: mine do not get along at all. Little one attacks my grey like a bully from jealousy. Of course the large beak defended herself and caused a broken bone in little Crickets head. I never never let them be together now. Conures as a rule love to dominate the entire flock so good luck

Welcome to the forum! My conure is the bully, too, and gets easily jealous of the bigger birds, and they could easily hurt her. I don't know if they will ever be able to be out of the cages at the same time. I'm guessing maybe not.

Thanks for the welcome all and thanks for the advice. I had asked at the bird place about that and she also advised it wouldn't be a good idea.

I don't know why I wasn't thinking to snap a couple pictures, I had my phone. I will certainly be taking them from now on when I go visit. Looks like I might not get back there again until Tuesday and I can't wait. I'm sure every visit will be seeing me returning with a bag of goodies for both birds, this place is like a Toys R Us for birds. Tico (my GCC) can certainly use more chewies. Their prices are very very reasonable so I'm going to stock up!

Hello and welcome to the other new members! Just in a couple days everyone has made me feel very welcome and there is alot of bird knowledge gathered here and many years of experience.

I started an album with my other friends in it in case anyone wanted to look. Is there a way to switch pictures around? I figured the first uploaded would be first, etc in that order but it's the other way around so my last picture is my first. It's not really a big deal except for the two pictures of my foster cat before/after.

Cheers
