New Member Looking for Bronze Wing Pionus Near Central MI

Hello!

I recently registered with the forum. I have had a very difficult time finding myself a hand fed, weaned BW Pionus baby. My lovebird died last fall and I am missing the companionship very much. I have done a few months of research and have come to the conclusion that a BW Pi is right for me. Any information would be helpful.

I've been tipped to check out bird shows, but have little experience with that. More tips would be very helpful.

Have you checked on birdbreeders.com?

When I was looking to adopt another bird I googled "birds for sale" and found quite a few other sites with ads as well.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I was going to suggest birddreeders.com as well.

What made you decide on the BW? I would say don't cancel out the other Pionus if you can't locate a BW.

I found my bird on this site and he was shipped to me from TX from an absolutely wonderful breeder. Don't be discouraged if you can't find one locally. Shipping is always an option...
