Hi all,
I am a mother and homemaker. I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with my kids. We have lots of projects going on and lots of activities but our favorite are the love we share for our birds. We have African Greys and Cockatiels. We breed the African Greys and hand feed the babies, which is a family project. We are looking into joining 4H with the birds, for the kids, so they can show. We are kinda remote so it is hard to find any clubs or shows if they exist.

Hey Michelle, welcome to the forum. So great you involve the kids.My kids grew up with birds as well.I think it helps them to be better adults,learning to raise babies and the responsibility of caring for pets.

Your son is adorable too :) He looks so happy to have the babies in his lap...children learn so much by being exposed and involved with their care at a early age.
