eye problem urgent

Hi please help someone. I took my QP out this morning an noticed her one eye is closed all the time and she keeps scratching it. Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it. I'm really worried

Best to take her to the vet. In the meantime you could probably try flushing it with sterile saline, but I would ask the vet first over the phone. I have a horse that was kicked in the eye. The only thing I could do until the vet got there was put vaseline on her eyelid to keep it moist, and cover it.

Rosy is correct. A vet visit is in order here, not home treatment.
