I recognize a few names here.

I've been a companion to an awesome umbrella cockatoo named Elvie for the last 14 years. We travel and do many things together.

I look forward to getting to know more of you.

I travel with my own parrot Keupi a lot so I'm sure we'll have some funny ones to share (ever have to take Elvie into a women's bathroom and have him wolf whistle... then discover he loves the acoustics... no - neither did I).

Yes, 14 years is a long time to be a cockatoos companion. He is an awesome too that is loaded with personality and love. I can't imagine being without him as my side kick.

I lost my husband last April to a heart attack. Elvie also took loosing his daddy very heard. We've worked together to give each other strength and support. He's doing much better although still adjusting.

I would of liked to of posted some pics. After reading the forums rules I see newbees are not allowed to post pics until specified amount of posts and 15 days.
