Have zebra and society finches and two cockatiels: Daisy and Shakespeare
Hi there - I am new to this forum and hope someone may be able to help me. I've had birds all my life and am at the point where I would like to add an african grey to our family. I am looking for a young female bird. Not to breed I just prefer female pets. I've been looking for breeders or adoptions in the Harrisburg PA area and can find NOTHING. If you can help me please respond. I can offer a loving, stable home for life. Thanks.

We have a CAG that is about 10 years old. It has never been sexed so we cannot garuntee the sex. We live near Pittsburgh but my parents live in harrisburg. Bubba is a VERY sweet bird. We have two small children and he does not get the attention that he deserves. Let me know if you are still looking. We have been discussing finding bubba a new home but don't want him to go somewhere he won't be taken care of. Thanks

I can email you or even text you pictures if you want me to do that. He has no behavioral issues ( we call it a he just because his name is bubba). We have had him since he was about two. His previous owner had really bad allergies and was told get rid of the bird or you will die. His cage will come with him and any food, toys. His cage is about 5 years old. Bubba evacuated with me during hurricane Katrina his old cage was ruined in our house. He is very tame but prefers my husband over me. It is very hectic here. We have two kids under 4 and 2 dogs in the house. Nothing seems to bother him. We recently babysat two parakeets and he had a blast talking to them. He has a pretty extensive vocabulary and knows everyone including ten dogs in our house by name. We are asking a 500 reforming fee but will only considering if it is the right home. Please let me know if you are interested. We can chat by email or phone and I can fill you in on anything you may want to know.
