Hi, I'm new here. I decided to join after noticing that since purchasing my new first birds last month, All I post on facebook now is about my birds..how annoying! lol 
I have a 1 year old pineapple greencheeked conure and two zebra finches that I purchased to entertain my conure..but they have laid five eggs. There would have been six but I put a ladder between cages and let my conure venture out.. I went potty and came back to discover that she ate their first egg -.- jerk.
I felt like I got really lucky with her until I saw some funner conures at petco. She doesnt do much.. and shes kind of timid until I've got her in my hands. but atleast she never bites.. even when I started flightsuitting her. I named her Button. Shes been a big investment so far in time and money.. The first day I got her I had a health check done and the second day I experienced our first blood feather emergency.. and every so often I notice one foot turns red and she doesnt stand on it.. I dont know what to do about it so I ordered 12 natural manzanite perches off of ebay. I assume its because she was in one cage for her whole life in a pet shop and now shes on the same dowel style perch. Also, I think her beak is too long and flakey.. i think the flakeyness is because all she ate in the petshop was basically finch seed food. I had a rope toy in her cage and she tore it apart and got a piece of string stuck deep in the flakes.. its still there and I cant get it out.
