1st Time Parrot Owner and Thread poster

Hi Everyone,

This is my very 1st thread post about my very 1st Parrot.

Pepe is a sweet 10 wk old Amazon Double Yellow Headed Parrot. We are still hand feeding while trying out abundance weaning.

I am so happy to have found this forum. I have had so many questions about Pepe (our parrot) that I was going out of my mind. This Forum appears to be the best place to quiet some of my anxieties when I have them as opposed to calling the Vet every few hours.

There is so much to learn and I am excited to do it. I already feel the rewards when Pepe tucks his head against my shirt, or my Husbands, and dozes off to sleep. We know then we have made the right decision...He is Family!! Our newest baby!!

LOL. I thought I posted a thank you post, but I guess it didn't take. No telling where it is. I also took a pic and vid and have one on here, but alas, it is in pc Limbo.

Here is step by step instructions on how to Upload a pic Look foward to seeing them!

When you are creating your post, go into attachments, click on upload from Computer, then browse.. click on the pic you want to show, then click on upload.... or if you have photobucket just hover mouse over the image then left click on IMG and it will say copied, then just paste into your message box, go onto preview post and it will show if it has gone in properly
