Why is my macaw becoming aggressive

I have had my macaw since 1997 and he has always loved me. I could do no wrong by him. Yes through the years things changed- kids came into our lives, we just moved 8 months ago. In this new house he is biting harder and more aggressive. Last night he just put a hole through my lip when I went to kiss him ( which he always loved) and he went in towards me without ruffled feathers or any of his signs he is frustrated and then latched right on my lip and wasnt going to let go. 10 stitches later I am wondering if this can be corrected or do I need to find him a home where he can be with one or two people. It makes me sad but if he hurt my kids that would be much worse.

You cant really totaly trus a perrot so I would newer have him alone with chrildren. One bite dont really mean that he is aggressive but of cause you need to be carefull like the rest of us

Is the cage placement significantly different than where it was in the other house in terms of room activity, proximity to walkways/windows, size of room, etc?
