Hi everyone. I have been watching this forum for weeks and have now registered! I am the proud owner of a beautiful young pineapple green cheeked conure called Jasmine. She was born in April 2012 and came to live with us in July. Her previous owner only had her for 1 week and because she flew onto their babies face and scratched him, they decided to get rid of her 
BUT that was our gain as she is absolutely gorgeous. She is learning to talk (she can say 'hello Jasmine', 'pretty girl' and 'who's a clever birdie') and tricks she has learnt include spinning in a circle and hanging like a bat. She is learning that we ignore her if she bites us and gets treats when she is gentle.
