Senegal
Hello, everyone. This Saturday we are getting the Senegal Parrot we will be fostering to adopt from Phoenix Landing. We are so excited and can't wait to have him join our household.

I am here to learn as much as I can about parrots in general and Senegals in particular.

I am a stay at home mom of two young boys. My husband became a trucker, his dream job, so I asked myself what my dream is. The answer: more pets. We currently have 4 snakes, a gecko, a cat, and a dog. I'm also hoping to add other critters in the next year - hopefully rescues and rehomes. I've been an animal lover all my life and started out bringing in injured animals as a child and coaching strays home with me. I rehabbed a wild black rat snake this spring and have released him already.

I teach Spanish a few hours a week during the school year to children. I'd like to start doing animal, pet care, conservation, and rescue education with kids, too.

Welcome from a fellow zookeeper (not really, I'd like to be but I'll settle with my home zoo).

I also have a Senegal and two Yong boys. I found my guy loves one boy and dislikes the other. They pick and choose who they like. I would not trade him for anything. He is a pretty good talker, and quite the little clown. If you have any questions let us know and enjoy him.
