Hi!

I've decided to join these forums in order to do a bit of research.

I had budgies in high school but was unfortunately not able to have pets during university and had to re-home them. My mother had a cat at home and my sister is terrified of birds so no one was able to look after them while I was away. Its been a few years since university and I'm hoping to find another bird to keep me company. Now that I have a steady job and an apartment by myself I think this is an good opportunity!

I'm not sure what type of bird, so I figure I can browse the forums a while and try to get a handle on the various species and all of their quirks. When I was younger it was months and months of begging in order to be allowed to have even a small bird like a budgie so I didn't even get to consider anything else.

That's pretty much it for me I guess. Looking forward to browsing the forums and lots of internet searching for the perfect bird for me!

Hi and welcome to the forum! Hope you have a good time here! :)

Green cheek conure would probably be a good choice for you! They are great apartment bird and are easier to care for than some of the larger parrot. Cockatiels are awesome for apartemt too! In general, smaller parrot dents to be better choice for apartment. :)

Welcome to the forum, you'll find a lot of great people here.
Make sure that you're absolutely up for having another parrot, they are a long commitment and can be expensive at times.

A great apartment bird is a pionus.
