15 year-old Sun Conure: Hamlet &
14 year-old Green-Cheeked Conure: Mac
I love those green cheeks ... kinda like a Doberman Pincher in a Yorkie's body (for all of those of you who know dog breeds). My question for you Debbie is, how long have you had your little GCC? They don't usually wean until 9-12 weeks so it seems a little young for him to be home with you ...

I have had him for 2 weeks now and am doing the hand feeding and introducing him to seeds & pellets, fruit & vegetables, and millet. He is doing very well. I know now the dangers of hand feeding but thank goodness for Sam I have been very lucky and have had no problems. He is adjusting and eating well. I will have a 6 month old Sun conure this weekend. Wondering how well they will get along. But found great advice here on how to introduce them. Thanks again.

Thanks for letting me know about the bird fair here in Tennessee I have never been to one but will look forward to it I picked up my new addition today a 6 month old Sun Conure to keep my 7 week old green cheek company. sure see what i have to look forward to in my green cheek but the Sun is very beautiful to. Thanks for all the advice i have gotten here.
