Hello all, I joined about a year ago, and posted about my B&G, Jack. Here is the link...

http://www.parrotforums.com/showthread.php?t=21115

We have moved since then, here are some pics of the new digs...

We have a new member to our flock, also...meet Paris, a ten year old we adopted a few months ago!

Felt bad I never gave any pics before when I promised...better late then never, right? :)

Those play areas are amazing! Is that something you created yourself? I don't have quite that much space, but would love to get my Frankie another stand or two.

We did build it all ourselves, with the help of Lowe's and a large crepe myrtle tree, lol! :D
Thank you, we put a lot of effort and more than a little money in there...using all stainless steel screws gets expensive quick! ;) The toys my boyfriend and I also make ourselves, we even made that climbing net...we have more love than money I suppose, lol, but the fids are still spoiled! :)

It's a lovely play area, but I would watch them carefully around your walls and such! Willie got to the window frame work and the wall, he ate a hole through it.....lol....

Perhaps you should think about applying plexi-glass on the wall to prevent that from happening....

Lol, Paris was way ahead of you...they cannot reach the window frames, but of course they can reach the drywall...and she thought, hey, let's expand this place. She dug a trench in the drywall with her beak, and believe me for a few days I was very concerned for what that would do to her, ingesting that, if she did! We immediately put up acrylic over the spot she dug at, and have been very watchful of any nicks in the wall since. However, it seems that the game lost it's fun then, because she hasn't bothered to go after any other areas of wall...we assume she has figured out acrylic would just keep appearing, and she will have to deal with that horrible noise maker - the drill! ;)

Jack has always been a model citizen, he probably doesn't even remember a cage. Paris did, though, and she used to chew on the bars a lot - she figured out humans hate that twanging sound the metal makes, lol. Not surprisingly, she ran her beak back and forth over most of the walls of the room before settling in to dig at that spot. Since we covered it, nothing - at least for the past month. I never see her running her beak along the wall like before, though, so hopefully we nipped that in the bud - though only time will tell! :)

This is their bedroom and play area, they have no cages...I do have a video camera mounted on the ceiling, though, that I can watch them on when I am not in there with them. (There is also a couch in there they are nice enough to pay no attention to, lol)
