Sun conure
Hi!

My new 6 month old sun conure, thunder, is a real joy. She's very playful, and active between 6am and 6pm. I am delighted at how quickly she has gotten used to hands, and is super snuggly. I have had her for a month now. My concern is that she sneezes sometimes, not terribly often, but maybe once every couple hours. They are sometimes wet sneezes. She has been doing it since I got her with no change in frequency. Her nostrils look clear, but she does stuff a claw in them occassionally. She seems awesome, though - great appetite and playful. Would y'all recommend taking her to the vet?

IF you question about the condition, yes please do take her to the vet just in case. Then you'll have a peace of mind. :)

Parrots sneeze just like humans do! So it could be completely normal!

If she hasn't seen an a-vet yet, it wouldn't hurt to take her in for fecal and a blood panel which can be used for future references if she ever goes to the vet again! And it would be a great time to discuss the sneezing!
