Yes, mine dose the same thing..... Peanut is still to young to tell if male or female but been doing this for sometime now

Do you think male and females do it? or just the males because I would love to know if Peanut male or female, s/he about 1year old now

Both males and females can regurgitate! I currently have a female conure that tries to regurgitate for me! Ewww... lol She's supposedly laid eggs already, which confirms that she's a hen!

Is it normal? Yes, for a birds mate. However, you can't physically be a birds mate, so the behavior shouldn't be encourage. It's better to try to prevent the behavior and redirect them. Simply ignoring a behavior may not be enough to really discourage it, and a lot of behavioral problems originate from birds being too hormonal.
