how do i get my b&g macaw to stop squawking and biting
I have a 12 y.o. blue and gold macaw that i just rescued from an individual that had a lot of health problems. She is an awesome bird however, she has just recently started to squawk when you enter or exit the room. What can I do to get her to stop? I do work 9-5 and I do leave the tv on for her so she doesn't feel all alone too. She is also biting more....Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you!!!

Welcome to the forum!
Have you looked into positive reinforcement training and foraging?
