hello my name Is Edward I live on eastern long islnd and when I can winter in florida im 65 retired I have had a macaw in my life for aprox forty three years actually two one I had for about thirty five years he was originally a jungle bird imported in the country when it was legal so I don't know how old he was when I got him when he passed I got a another one but recently I lost him due to a incident involving someone and a tefflon pan devastated about it

Edward, have you checked on Petfinder? I just did a quick search, and a whole lot of Macaws came up. I don't know how much rescues ask for macaws, but perhaps it's worth for you to have a look, and see if you perhaps connect with one of them???
