Good day everyone, name is Ramon 55 years young, a proud owner of a pair of young Stanley rosella, 11 heads of ALBs 1 & 2 ( roseicollis and eyering). from Toronto,Ontario. Used to have an aviary that houses about200++ small and medium hookbills back home (Philippines), missed them so much that's why I decided to care for some here in Toronto even on a limited space. My first on rosella and hoping to learn a lot from the master breeders here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and yes DallyTsuka it is very beautiful, I'm trying to look for some of the pics when I was still on the construction process...let's see if I can still find it. I'll post it as soon as I find it.

i bet they loved the sunshine! is it different for you now having them indoors? i wish i could have a nice outdoor aviary. but, weather is too cold in the winter, and it's against our city by-laws here to have outdoor aviaries. so i can enjoy other people's photos of them! did you build the wooden cages yourself? they look pretty well done!

Yup those are my pearl cockatiels they are both handfed and I didn't even bother to put them in cage.

no, it's illegal just in my city lol this city has some weird laws. cant have a pet chicken either--indoor or out

I'm not sure yet about the law on outdoor aviary, what I'm more concern is the weather. How can we have an outdoor aviary with this kind of weather. My plan if God permits is a glass aviary with heater for winter use. Again another wishful thinking.:54:
