Rainbow Lorikeet
Hi! I'm a new member in this forum. I recently adopted a baby rainbow lorikeet which I named Petrie. He is approximately 4 weeks old. I came here so I could share the experiences I have with him as he grows. I also have a question regarding a small white bump at the tip of his beak. Does anybody know what it is? I was thinking it may be a egg tooth but I also think he is too old to have one. He had it when i adopted him.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Such a cute baby. Just curious where you live, and how you came to get a baby who is still so young?

I'm not at liberty to say where I live since they are illegal here. There are many breeders where I live who sell them though.

My thoughts are to for you to take the baby to an avian vet for a healh check. It's always for the best when you get a new bird. Especially since this one is so young. There, the vet will be able to see your bird in person. Hopefully it's nothing, serious. :)
