Re-introduction

I am not really a new member but it has been at least three years since I checked in here so thought I would reintroduce myself. I live in Honduras. About 5 years ago I was given (long story) a baby (unweaned,) wild caught White Cap Pionus. I have always been fascinated by parrots but had never owned a bird and had no idea what to do with it (and later realized that the local advice I was getting was pretty bad.) Fortunately she (arbitrary designation -- we really have no idea) managed to survive my ineptness until I found this and another forum, which were invaluable sources of information. When I finally figured out what kind of parrot she is, someone directed me to a Pionus forum and I was pretty active on that for quite a while. Then life got kin of chaotic and I became more comfortable in caring for my faby so I kind of dropped out.

My husband and I are a retired couple and Snoopy is the love of our lives (along with our two dogs of course).

I am going to be asking a question on the cages forum but wanted to post this first so you all will have an idea who I am. Life has become a little less hectic, and our internet service is much better than when I first joined, so I will try to do a better job of staying connected with y'all

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I am not real good at doing things like pictures but would like to give it a try later on. Is there a thread or forum telling how to do it

Had not checked back here in a few days so just found this. Thank you SO much! A bit busy but will try to figure it out soon.Also am getting a new phone with a camera so that will help. (up to now Hubby has always been the photographer so I have to wait till he gets around to putting the pictures in his computer, than transfer to my computer....etc.)
