African Grey,
Hi people, my name is brad,and I live on Vancouver Island, and I just picked up and African gray from a good friend of mine named Sako,He has had her since fledgling, and could not keep her as he just didnt have the time for her because of health reasons.,She is about 3 years old,and I have had her for about 4 days now,so I look forward to getting help on what I need to do to give her the best life I can and as much freedom for her,I dont want a trophy bird,and just want to be a good friend and provider for her,So I look forward to reading here.

I really like your end line I always end personal letters with "In light and Love" never saw anyone else use those words and it warmed my heart!

Welcome to the forum! You'll have to post some pictures of your lovely new addition when you have the time. I think African Greys are just too cute! Congratulations and I hope to hear wonderful new stories about your new adventures with Sako. :)

Bless you for taking her, and for taking the time to seek us out! They are great birds, and very intelligent - so can be troublemakers if they get bored! I am sure you and she are still adjusting. Does she have a good cage and toys that she came with?

By the way, my friend's daughter's name is Ola, so I had to click this thread!
