Hello everyone! My husband and I adopted a pair of budgies (male- Azure and female- Alysra; and they might as well be love birds) about a year ago and just recently added to our "zoo" (we already have 3 cats and an English Mastiff) with a Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure named Emerris. We are new to this whole bird thing, but are quickly finding that we are IN LOVE with our Conure!
He is now as spoiled as the rest of the furry family, and has made himself at home on my shoulder. He also "gave" us his preferred routine of a morning bath followed by his favorite fruit (blueberries or apples) and kale. lol
He is just a little guy, with a hatch day of March 17, 2014, but he has made his way into our hearts VERY quickly in the 4 weeks we've had him. I am excited to be around others who have a greater knowledge and I am eager to learn as much as I can that can benefit my little boy.
