New Green Cheek owner!

Hello everyone!

My name is Violet and I will soon be the owner of a yellow-sided green cheek conure. As of right now my little birdy is only 6 weeks old. I get weekly photos from his breeder and can't wait to bring him home! I am new to the conure family and would appreciate any advice on what to expect! I've only had a quaker before so I'm curious to see the differences

I will be getting my next picture on Saturday and have been really enjoying seeing his changes from week to week. I really like how his coloring is turning out. I will be able to start visiting him starting next week until he is finally weaned.

He still doesn't have a name yet. I only have 2 names in mind so far. Pidgey (for you pokemon fans out there) or Robin (like from Batman, he has the same colors as Robin). Any other ideas out there?

OMGGG!! He's AWESOME . I'm trying to name my sun conure. i know how hard it is. I'm stuck between Gizmo, Cosmo, Apollo, Starbuck, and Something Star Warsy like Yoda, Chewbacca, Sarlac, Boba Fett, Vader, Jedi, Ewok, and Obi Wan.... But i'm thinking Either Cosmo, Apollo, or Gizmo.. Pick from any of those if you like ^^ I absolutely adore green cheeks. I used to sell them, but i've never owned one, and i'm thinking of getting one. I Absolutely love the photo's he's so adorable!!

I was just looking at your post, Timothy! Your sun is so cute! I liked Chewy and Gizmo out of the list everyone gave you.

I do like the name Apollo, so I think I will add that to my little list. Picking names is SO HARD!

That's so awesome that you get to see and have pictures of him growing! I kinda like Pidgey, but then I used to watch Pokemon with my younger brothers all the time, before they started coming out with all these different Pokemon lol.

Timothy: My vote is Cosmo. Cosmos is a good show (I'm a space nerd) and how awesome would it be to that colorful of a bird with a name like Cosmo? SO AWESOME! :09:

He is so beautiful, and now that his feathers are coming in he'll be even more beautiful, I dont know how you can handle all the birds you have I can barely take care of 1.
