Seven Cockatiels - four females and three males
Five Parrotlets - three males and two females
Hi all
My name is Natalie and I have been a bird owner for the last three years. I remember my mom having budgies as a child but never felt any kind of attachment to them myself. Then just over three years ago I was visiting a friend and Zoey, 12 yrs old male cockatiel, flies right over and adopts me. Who knows what made me the right match for him (maybe it was the endless head scratches I gave him lol) but thankfully the owner was looking to find him a new home and he did! Since then I have adopted birds so that my flock now includes seven cockatiels and five parrotlets. I also work with Lost and Found Birds in Ontario (fostering on occasion) and established Small Animal and Bird Rescue to provide a home for birds and small animals that need a temporary home until a new one can be found. I love this work and look forward to learning from all of you in the days, weeks and years to come so that I make as few mistakes as possible.
