hi im donna i have recently aquired a 10 year old(we think) orange winged amazon, leo doesnt talk and doesnt interact much, have had many bites 
, due to working shifts i am unable to spend as much time as i would like in trying to retrain him, he will take food from you give you kisses but at the moment will not allow you to touch him... i let him out of his cage a few times a week and try to reassure him by slowly introducing my hand (fingers out) but to no avail as yet...any advice would be truely appreciated. (i used to have a young one years ago but due to family problems i had to let her go )
