parrot help

Hello guys
I am from Pakistan. I always liked parrots but never bought one . Today suddenly a small baby parrot (i presume ) falls on my brothers head .i am thinking of keeping it. I dnt know what type etc etc and it has not eaten anything. Any help?

That is a pretty little parakeet. That is their adult size. You can try offering him millet and sunflower seeds and bits of grapes to get him started eating. Also, offer him water. Once he is eating well, you should back off of the sunflower seeds because it is not good for him to have too many - he can have them for treats, but for now when you just want to get him eating they are something he might really like.

Thnx alot but it isnt flying he flatters his wings but doesnt fly.

LOL, you are wearing a mighty thick glove for such a little birdy. I don't think you have to worry about him removing your fingers. :54:

Lol yeah it was my first time to hold an avian for more than a minute but now its alright and mind u he bites like hell.

I believe that is a budgie. I suggested reading everything you can find on their food and care. This forum and the internet are very good sources of advice on what to do. Good luck!

Beautiful budgie you have there!! And yes- despite those tiny beaks, their bites can be quite painful- especially in the crook of your fingers [emoji33] lol

Don't let their size fool you though- they're smart, fun, loving little ones [emoji4]

Budgies are grass parakeets native to Australia, and they make FANTASTIC pets :) congratulations!
