Joe is my name, just picked up our Senegal Female Parrot, she is beautiful and named Lor

after 2 days I noticed some different behaviour while she started to stp up to my hand, she was regurgitating

not knowing what this meant i headed for the internet to find out

how pleased am I

very very pleased

looking forward to learning about her and getting to know her

just wait till i tell the wife - she is jealous lol

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum, while its true that many birds regurgatate as a sign of affection for their favorite humans or toys, if that is what your refering to as you being happy, it is not always the case, from what I'm reading you've only had the bird two days, pretty fast to make that kind of bond, though not impossible, just a suggestion but you might want to have a check up by a good avian vet just to make sure.......Good luck with the new fid, wish you many happy years together.

hi and welcome! i have a Sennie girl too and she does the same thing to me! at first she was doing the head bobbing thing when i talked to her, it was so cute! then it would become more like an undulating motion and she would bring something up, ewww. so now when she starts that i walk away.
i want her to keep her food to herself thank you.
she also became a one person bird very quickly and now only i can pet her, she will bite anyone else who tries to pet her. she used to love pets from everyone. so make sure you and your wife spend equal time with her and hopefully she will like you both the same.
