Hi,
I have an Alexandrian. He is 9 weeks old. well the pet store is guessing he's a he. I actually haven't brought him home yet, he is still being weaned. But in the meantime, I'm doing my research, I haven't had this size bird before.

I've named him Edgar, short for Edgar Allan Poe, my favorite writer/poet.

Welcome! I love his name!!! Author names are always a great choice in my book (haha no pun intended). Do you have any photos that you can share of Edgar? I absolutely love sharing pictures of my new baby. I'm worse than a mother who just gave birth.

I have an Alex named Xander, and he is such a great guy...be prepared to fall in love with Edgar more and more every day

The pet store wants to keep him another week, they were trying to wean him but he refused. So, they are starting again. I'll make an album.

Are you an author too? I've posted photos of Edgar in an album. I'll be visiting him again on Tuesday, 4/28. Can't wait!
