I'm new to this forum, so I Wanted to introduce myself. I am 24 and work from home. Right now I have a 6.5 month old Congo Grey. I also have a 1 year old Lutino Cockatiel. My Grey's name is Cagney, and my 'Tiels name is Tazer. All my kids are named after a police theme. They are both wonderful! I have a few other pets, too! My Grey already says Hi, laughs, makes kissing noises, and says hello. She mumbles a lot too. Yesterday she learned how to open the can of almonds. I got her an Add Machine Paper holder toy for Christmas. That has become her favorite toy, and a huge mess for me! She had a 2 foot stocking full of toys, and she's already tearing up the Christmas Tree toy I got her.

I guess my most pressing question of the day is... How hard is it to keep yourselves from wanting another Parrot? I look at Cagney and wish I had 2 of her at times LOL.

Well let me put it this way, I started off with two rescues, Flynn a red rump, and Errol a Rosella. Not too bad I hear you say, well I now have 10 birds, and aim to have another grey and a male red rump  All my birds are in pairs, (we didn't buy them as male and female, but thats how it turned out) except Bucc and Flynnie, what is a gal to do.

I did say I wasn't going to have anymore once I reached 7 but they kept on coming. I'm already trying to find a flat for my hubby and kids to live in so that I'll have more room for my birds. :D They just don't seem to think that is one of my better ideas for some reason. ;)
