Hi everyone! This is Amos from the UK. I love parrots and, to be honest, all kinds of birds. I used to have a really cool English budgie called Columbus for several years, but he recently passed away :(. I obviously want to get a new parrot, but I'm thinking weather to get another kind. By the way, I've cared for a Salmon Crested 'too for a week just a fortnight ago, it was nice, but don't worry because I'm not going to get one in the near future!

Welcome Amos!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss of Columbus. I love the English Budgies (I have one) and I'm so tempted to get more! This is a great place to discover what sort of new feathered friend might be best for you. What are you looking for in a bird, what size, and why?

Lots of Quaker and Conure people here to help. Any particular reason you're interested in those in particular besides the size you like? Any specific species of Conure that has caught your eye?

I'm interested in Sun conures particularly. I love lively birds, and Columbus used to be more lively than what befits an english budgie! I dont wan't to go too big yet.
