how's it going everyone! I finally decided to join the forms here. my name is Bret and I'm not new to birds per say but I am still learning a lot about them as I go. I grew up with 2 cockatiels that were my moms and I fell in love with them when I was young. as I grew older I never really had time for any animals. after many years of not having any birds I decided to shop around and see if I wanted to own another bird. I broke down and I picked up a white baby Indianan ring neck. went through the process of hand feeding him and everything. he was an amazing bird but due to deployment reasons I had to return him. a few months after I returned I really wanted to get another bird knowing I was going to separate from the military and wouldn't have to give up another bird. i called a good friend of mine who ran a pet store (she was the same lady i got my ring neck from) and told her i really wanted another bird. she told me she had a beautiful 3 year old green cheek conure that she had raised and sold and was returned by the family because they were moving and couldn't take the bird. so I took a trip down to the store and would play with him while i talked to my friend. I did this about 4 times and after the 5th time I decided to bring him home. after about a week he adjusted extremely fast and is the most loveable bird ever. heres my buddy tinker
