Not sure where to put pictures... I uploaded some and put them in the cockatoo section, trying to learn to navigate around here.

It's okay, any questions just ask away :). You can upload pics directly from here, using the attachment (paper clip) icon. OR... the best and recommended method is through a free Photobucket account.

Your fids are gorgeous in your avatar!

Ohhh how CUTE they are all snuggled in a matching blanket :)!

Edit: I just viewed your album! They're such eye candy. How are they in temperament? I've always heard they're not as much of a hands on Too species.

Not needy like the U-too's and M-too's. They are somewhat skittish and aloof they do need to be handled on a daily bases to be kept tamed down. the females are more docile. Although I like that they are perfectly happy playing on their own. They love to snuggle. If I had to compare between species I would say in my personal experience with the different Toos the Majors are a cross between a Gala and in Moluccan temperament.

Rare around here ,always wondered what they were like. I always thought they might be like a Galah personality. I saw a video though and were more like the "White Toos " . What do you think?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner... they are like a Gala/M2 mix, they are somewhat apprehensive, skittish, with gentle consistent encouragement they can be quite the snuggle bugs. What I like about them is they can be perfectly ok playing on their own. They do need to be handled on a daily bases, gentle positive interaction to keep them tamed down, their temperament's are predictable whereas the "bigger Toos" are complex and needy. Not the ear shattering calls of the big guy's, mine are pretty quiet, evening calls, flock calls, sound like screeching car brakes. Females tend to be more docile males are stoic. All in all I really enjoy them, for me they are just my cup of tea! :)
