Hi all,

Obviously new here, sadly don't have any birds yet but planning to change that over the course of this summer. Both my wife and I have had birds in the past and so I mainly signed up here to hopefully get a good idea where to look for our new ones and a little advice.

thanks

daniel

Hi Daniel and Welcome. I hope you get the birds you are looking for. What type of parrot had you and your wife got in mind? You will get tons of advice here and great tips too. Someone a little more experienced than me will be along later to answer your questions.

Welcome. For reservations kinds of posts, you need to give us your age, housing conditions, what you expect of a parrot, what the parrot can expect from YOU.

Thank you for the welcome. Not looking for anything too special, hopefully want to find a couple of pyhurra conures,I always liked white ears but my wife prefers green cheeks. All my cages and "stuff" is sitting in the garage in storage so all I need to do is track down the right birds. I'm in no rush though, its going to be a bit of a surprise around my wife's birthday. We already have talked about getting some birds again and she'll be thrilled. She really misses having them around, her family bred and hand reared LOADS of various species years ago and when we were younger we had some ourselves. But with uni and work commitments, had to stop, but now we're in a position to have some again.
