Aloha to All,
My name is Terri., I joined the forum back in April, finally made myself sit down to do this. Just a quick note to introduce myself and Buster (is a female by DNA:64: CAG). I am Old and Buster just turned 12 yrs on June 11. Buster belonged to my father who passed away in Feb. My father loved her very much but for the last 10 yrs has been too sick to take care of properly. She was very rarely allowed out of her cage and her diet sucked. That has changed since she arrived in Hawaii at the beginning of April. Buster is my first bird. Not the ideal bird for a novice but I am on fast learning curve. Just want to thank you all here for all the sticky posts. I believe I have read them all. I will post more in the future.

They have sooo much great information. I think ideal first bird is subjective if you have a person willing to step up/research & do whats best for them that makes it ideal - sounds like Buster found that person!
